Course purpose
This advanced course presents asset recovery as a planned, rights-respecting process that begins at the outset of a financial investigation. It covers recovery objectives and legal pathways, asset profiling and tracing, proof of connection, valuation and third-party interests, urgent preservation, asset management, confiscation, restitution, return and international cooperation. Learners apply a decision framework that separates intelligence, evidence and legal authority at every stage.
