Course purpose
This advanced course develops a disciplined response to emerging financial-investigation trends as at August 2026. It examines cyber-enabled fraud, artificial-intelligence-assisted deception, scam ecosystems, rapid payments, mule networks, stablecoins and other virtual assets, advanced analytics, synthetic media and cross-border intervention. Learners distinguish verified trend evidence from hype, adapt investigative methods without abandoning evidential fundamentals, and design a controlled capability roadmap for continuous change.
