Course purpose
This Advanced course integrates the practical communication work performed throughout a forensic engagement. Learners convert a mandate into a stakeholder and message plan; communicate safely with reporters, subjects, witnesses, management, boards and authorities; translate evidence into concise briefings, reports and accessible visuals; manage difficult conversations and challenge; and control review, issue, late evidence, correction and closure. The course does not provide legal advice, decide guilt, determine privilege, authorize disclosure or replace applicable law, professional standards, organizational policy or specialist advice. Every communication must be adapted to the actual mandate, evidence, jurisdiction, recipient authority and risk environment.
