Course purpose
This Specialist course prepares accounting and investigative professionals to address evidence created by cloud-native services, containers, serverless workloads, mobile and Internet of Things devices, artificial-intelligence systems, automation and synthetic media. Learners identify how distributed ownership, provider control, volatile workloads, proprietary interfaces, encryption, model opacity and rapid product change affect completeness, integrity, attribution and reproducibility. They design forensic-readiness requirements, select lawful collection routes, assess AI-assisted analysis, evaluate synthetic-content claims, and connect emerging-technology artifacts to financial transactions and control decisions. The course is strategic and non-operational: it does not teach account takeover, token harvesting, device exploitation, model evasion, deepfake creation or unauthorized cloud collection. Learners must not use access tokens, credentials, APIs, administrative consoles, debugging tools or device interfaces outside documented authority and specialist direction. Current contracts, privacy and data-transfer requirements, provider procedures, evidence rules and competent technical advice control practice.
