Course purpose
This course provides a practical method for converting investigation objectives into a fair interview plan, obtaining a free account, developing detail, introducing exhibits proportionately and closing with an accurate record. The emphasis is disciplined technique rather than scripts or intuition.
Learning outcomes
On successful completion, the learner should be able to:
1. Prepare a written interview plan linked to evidence, hypotheses, safeguards and logistics.
2. Use a structured sequence of open, probing, clarifying and specific questions.
3. Apply active listening, summaries, exhibits and fair challenge without contaminating the account.
